How do you vet your tradespeople?
Every tradesperson goes through a manual check before joining our network. We verify their ID, confirm they hold public liability insurance, and review their past work history and customer feedback. If they don't meet our standard, they don't join. Simple.
What if I'm not happy with the work?
We stay involved throughout. If something isn't right, contact us directly and we'll mediate on your behalf. Because we have an ongoing relationship with our tradespeople, issues get resolved far faster than going it alone.
How quickly will I hear back after posting a job?
We aim to respond to every job within 24 hours, usually much faster. We'll contact you with a matched tradesperson and an agreed price quote before any work is confirmed.
Do I need planning permission for my project?
Many home improvement projects fall under Permitted Development and don't require planning permission — things like small extensions, loft conversions (certain types), and most internal work. When you post your job, just tell us what you're planning and we'll advise you on whether permission is needed as part of our service.
I'm a tradesperson — how does the finder's fee work?
We agree a fee with you upfront before sending any referrals your way. For smaller jobs it's typically a flat fee (£25–£100). For larger projects like loft conversions we agree a percentage of the job value. There's no monthly subscription and no cost until we send you a confirmed client.
